The farm Eide in Norddal municipality (Norway) consist of two cadastral farm units, Indreeide (Inner) and Eide (Heimre=Near). The two farms are divided by a lake at the end of the valley Ytterdal. Both farms consists of several family farm units (farm holdings), and there is Q paternal lines both at Indreeide and one at Heimre Eide. They share the same terminal SNP, Q-BY38347, however the genealogical records of the early 17th century show no immediate relationsship.
